Our Learn as We Grow approach starts with your child's own curiosity. Programs run from 6 weeks to 8 years, full- or part-time. The goal is a solid foundation for infants, toddlers, preschool, and Pre-K children. We work toward a successful transition into kindergarten. Ask us which schedule fits your family.
Summer Camp runs up to age 10. The daily schedule is filled with outdoor playtime, games, projects, and crafts. Children move between activities rather than sitting still. Ask the director about camp weeks and how to hold a spot.
Drop-in care is for the days when your regular plans change and you still need someone attentive with your child. You can ask the center which days have openings and what ages they can take that week. Availability is on a space-available basis, so it helps to call ahead. Ask the director how drop-in fits with your schedule and what to pack for the day.
Electives add something extra to the regular day, a focused activity your child chooses. These sessions are interactive, so children are doing rather than watching. Ask which electives are running this term and which ages can join. If your child already attends, ask how the elective fits around nap, lunch, and outdoor time. The director can tell you what is open right now.
Grow Fit is our initiative for healthy living, fitness, and nutrition. Children take part in it as part of their time with us. Ask the director what Grow Fit looks like in your child's room.
Learning here starts with what a child notices and wonders about. Teachers follow that curiosity instead of rushing past it, because a question a child asks is a good place to begin. The aim is to help children meet or exceed Pennsylvania standards for kindergarten readiness, and to keep learning something they return to as they grow. A good early years day moves between active and quiet. Children play outside, build, paint, sort, and listen to stories. Teachers watch what holds a child's attention and plan from there. Days keep a steady rhythm so children know what comes next.
What you notice at home is the point. A child who tries a new task, asks a question, or tells you how something works is practising. Curiosity and wonder are the starting point for all learning experiences. Over time, that shows up as readiness for kindergarten.
