Classroom.

What your child does in the classroom, and what it means for their day.

Two young girls sit closely together looking down at something out of frame, with a stuffed gray animal resting on a red chair behind them.

In the Classroom

Learning is most meaningful when children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore. Our educators create engaging experiences that encourage curiosity, celebrate individuality, and help children build positive relationships through kindness and respect.

Elective Opportunities for Kids

Introduce your child to new learning experiences with our enhanced series of elective programs. For an additional fee, these programs help children build skills in areas such as: Physical Fitness, Creative Expression, Social Development, Memory, Critical Thinking, Public Speaking, and Teamwork.

Additional Offerings:

Note: Some programs are dependent on minimum enrollment requirements. See center for details.

Exploring the Classroom

Curiosity leads the way, as children are encouraged to follow their interests wherever they may lead throughout the classroom. There’s always something new to discover and learn.

Communication Center

Language and literacy are cornerstones of early learning. This center engages children with books, conversations, and opportunities for mark-making: drawing, scribbling, and, eventually, writing. Here, children learn to express themselves and collaborate with classmates as they build essential communication skills that will benefit them in school and in the future.

What this looks like in practice

A classroom day moves between group time and open choice. Children follow their own curiosity, and teachers build experiences around what holds their attention. Books, conversations, and mark-making are part of the rhythm, from drawing and scribbling toward writing. Elective programs add fitness, creative expression, social development, public speaking, and teamwork for an additional fee.

The benefit shows up at home. A child who feels safe and supported in the classroom tries things that were once hard. Kindness and respect, practiced daily, become how they treat siblings and friends. The words they build in books and conversations turn into asking questions, explaining an idea, and working alongside a classmate. That carries into school and beyond.
